Collected during an NJMA foray at this park by Edward Zeme, a new member of the club. Of all the folks who hit the woods, Ed got lucky and hit this jackpot (IMO this is the foray's most prized collection, but then I am very partial to fleshy pored mushrooms). Call it beginner's luck, but there were many beginners at this foray. :-) Ed navigated a treacherous terrain (a very steep and rocky slope) to collect these (several large, mature and somewhat waterlogged fruitbodies). They were growing in abundance on ground amidst some leaf-covered rocks in deciduous woods. Fairly soft, yellow to yellow-brown zonate caps with a wavy margin, staining bluish-green here and there; mustard-yellow, large pores with a very jagged/uneven edge (the color looks more brown in the pix).
