MICROSCOPY & ID BY DJANGO GROOTMYERS Pores bruising brown. Associated with a white rot on the underside of a very wet Carya tomentosa log. All structures inamyloid. Dimitic with skeletal hyphae dominating. Cystidia absent. Basidia 4-sterigmate and some withsecondary septa. Basidia basally clamped. Spores smooth, thin-walled and allantoid. Spore measurements: (4.2) 4.3 - 5.6 (5.8) Ã- (1.7) 1.9 - 2.4 (2.7) µm, Q = (1.8) 2.1 - 2.6 (3.1); N = 30, Me = 5 Ã- 2.2 µm; Qe = 2.3
