Clump of large mushy mushrooms (a bit larger than my palm). It was hard to get a look at the stipe and gills. They were so mushy, they disintegrated when I tried to pick one to turn it over. Photo #3 is from a nearby clump of mushrooms (hopefully the same species) to show the stipes. Substrate: soil in a grassy field
