Description: Original observation #93171 (Mushroom Observer)

Notes: Could be a Peziza sp. possibly... Fruiting intermixed with Morchella sp. in bark mulch that was laid in Spring 2011. Deep, burgundy red color-emitting a smoky haze of spores when tapped or handled. Very fragile flesh.
