Description: Original observation #293451 (Mushroom Observer)

Notes: Found in a boreal-type peat bog, primarily a mixture of red spruce (Picea rubens), eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), yellow birch (Betula alleghaniensis) and red maple (Acer rubrum). Growing in moss and Betula alleghaniensis leaf litter. Smell was very fragrantly fruity, taste mild.
