From the end of the road, hike up trail #3529 to trail #3323, wildcat swamp trail, which is just nroth of the main TR #3529 #3328 junction. Proceed east on TR #3323, watching for a large opening to the north, observable from the trail. Leave the trail, heading north to the opening. The Reference point is a 24.2 inch Engelman spruce at the south edge of the meadow, adjacent to an established hunters camp with numerous blazed trees and cut stumps. Alternate route: Follow, 43.98 -122.01, 1402m
