Austria, Salzburg, Pinzgau, Hohe Tauern, c. 15 ENE of Heilgenblut, valley Rauriser Tal, upper end of the tributary valley of the creek "Huttwinklache" c. 5km ESE of the Hocharn Mtn, region of the marked walking trail between the Friends-of-Nature house "Kolm-Saigurn" and the Hoher Sonnblick Mtn. Larix decidua- and Pinus cembra-dominated forest.
