From the end of the road, hike up trail #33529 to trail #3323, wildcat swamp trail, which is just north of the main TR #3529/#3328 junction. Proceed east on TR #3323 watching for a large opening to the north, observable from the trail. Leave the trail, heading north to the opening. The reference point is a 24.2 inch Engelman spruce at the south edge of the meadow, adjacent to an established hunters camp with numerous blazed trees and cut stumps.
