United States, Ohio, Ashland County. Mohican State Park. Found by Jessica Rosenlieb on a group foray. Strong cucumber-like odor. Spore print faint but very light brownish where visible. All structures inamyloid. Clamp connections present in lamellar trama. Pleurocystidia abundant: tapered gloeocystidia with yellowish content in Melzer's reagent. Most pleurocystidia found in Melzer's reagent appeared to be somewhat collapsed. Pleurocystidia measurements: (51) 52.1 - 64.8 (70.1) × (19.1) 21.2 - 26.7 (28) µm, Q = (1.9) 2.1 - 2.9 (3.1); N = 8, Me = 59.6 × 24.6 µm; Qe = 2.5. Basidia clavate and 4-sterigmate. Basidia measurements: 21.2 - 23.47 (23.5) × 6.4 - 7 µm, Q = (3.3) 3.31 - 3.37 (3.4); N = 3, Me = 22.2 × 6.6 µm; Qe = 3.3. Spores smooth, hyaline and thick-walled. Spore measurements: (6.8) 7.5 - 9.7 (11) × (2.9) 3.2 - 3.9 (4) µm, Q = (1.9) 2.1 - 2.8 (3.3); N = 30, Me = 8.5 × 3.6 µm; Qe = 2.4
