Peridio exteriore tomentoso-granulato pallido, irregulariter rupto, interiore brunneo, ore fimbriato; capillitio fuseo.

Rockhampton (Thozet, no. 908). Thozet describes the orifice, “teeth of the stellate orifice chestnut, with a tinge of rose when fresh.” Nothing of this appears in the dried plant. Allied to G. mirdbilis.
