(P. pungens or P. engelmannii), Populus tremuloides and Ameliancher alnifolia. Total height of basidiocarp: 5.8 cm (4.8 stem + 1.0 cap). Lamellae greenish yellow except for a thin brown zone where they meet the stipe apex; sinuate with deep notches; ~0.5 deep at deepest; ~2.4 cm long at longest. Pairs of full-length lamellae separated by 1 to 2 tiers of lamellulae. ~104 full-length lamellae total on basidiocarp (calculated by counting number of full-length lamellae in rough 1/4 portion of basidiocarp and multiplying by 4). Stipe pale yellow and dry; 2.6 cm wide at apex; ~1.9 cm wide at midpoint. Base of stipe enlarged and somewhat bulbous with adhering debris; appearing marginate in dried specimen; 2.1 cm wide at widest portion; 1.7 cm wide at very base. Cap slimy; 6.4 cm wide. Center of cap reddish-brown. Grayish zone between the reddish-brown center and the purple margin. Context white in cap and stem. Google Map

Google Maps is a web mapping service provided by Google that features a map that users can pan (by dragging the mouse) and zoom (by using the mouse wheel). Collection points are displayed as colored markers that when clicked on, displays the full information for that collection. When multiple species are queried (separated by semi-colons), different colored markers denote each individual species.

Google Earth (KML)

This creates an KML file that can be opened in the Google Earth mapping application. Note that you must have Google Earth installed on your computer to make use of this option.
